My wife and I stayed here about 10 years ago for a romantic getaway when it was still new. Now we are a family. This year we came back with our two young children and had so much fun that we stayed a few extra nights. The staff was very accomodating and even though we had to change rooms once (to an even better room) they still managed to fit us in. It was wonderful to see that after 10 years things were still quaint and the area was still "in the northwoods". I will never forget this vacation, and neither will my family. We are preparing to be at Eagle Ridge for an extended weekend and are VERY excited. We've lived in Milwaukee and have spent our falls in Door County. We have hiked almost every national park in the United States and yet, Eagle Ridge and Lutsen Mountains is still the best place to enjoy the change of seasons! I've stayed at Eagle Ridge 3 times already and we are coming back again this March break for more! I've stayed in a variety of different rooms and I must say that no matter what room your staying in you have a spectacular view.
