Gitchi Gami State Trail
Families and casual cyclists love the Gitchi Gami State Trail, a paved, non-motorized trail that winds along the Lake Superior shore. When the trail is complete it will stretch 88 miles between Two Harbors and Grand Marais. From Eagle Ridge, it's just a short drive to the trail. Cruse over the Onion River, through the town of Tofte, or through Temperance River State Park. The leisurely ride offers gentle hills fantastic Lake Superior views.
More advanced riders can choose from a number of single-track and adventure riding trails along gravel forest roads, snowmobile trails, ski trails and more. Here are some recommendations:

Lima Mtn. area is relatively flat gravel road biking along varied forests. The Old Gunflint Trail is hilly with lots of ups and downs on a gravel road. One way in and the same way back.
