Guests of Eagle Ridge enjoy a family-fun line up of activities

Voyageur Canoe Guided Tours
Join our guide in a 9-person Voyageur Canoe to travel the Poplar River the way the fur traders did in the 19th Century. Includes a short hike to the river and a paddle up the river. Tours are most days at 10:30, other times based on availibility. Space is limited, signing up in advance is recommended. Life jackets and paddles are provided.

Hiking Trail Shuttle
Take our shuttle to the Oberg Trailhead and hike back to Eagle Ridge on the Superior Hiking Trail for an approx. 7 mile hike. Shuttle available at 1:00, other times upon request. Sign up at the Front Desk

US Forest Service Naturalist Programs
Join a Naturalist from the US Forest Service for two exciting Northwoods Naturalist Programs.

Thursdays 7:30pm at the Campfire: Wolves in the Night - Nothing means winderness like the lonely cry of a wolf. Admired or hated, wolves stir people's emotions. Learn about Minnesota's most famous residents.

Fridays 10:30am on the deck of the Scandinavian Chalet: Make a Dreamcatcher - Listen to legends and learn a bit about native cultures as you make your own dreamcatcher.

Music by the Campfire -
Fridays 7:30pm (through September 1)
Situated mountainside in the center of the resort with a stunning view of Moose Mountain, relax by the campfire and enjoy acoustic music featuring a different local musician each week. S'mores are provided by request at the Front Desk.

Papa Charlie's Music on the Deck - Saturdays 6:00pm (through September 2)
Come on over to Papa Charlie’s Restaurant and Tavern for some live acoustic music on the deck. Enjoy a meal or a cocktail overlooking Moose Mountain and the Poplar River valley while listening to live acoustic music.

Papa Charlie's Late Night Live Music - Saturdays 9:30pm-Midnight
